Nominations to Open Soon for IMA Global Awards

Know someone who’s an outstanding volunteer? Someone who empowers others and exemplifies the spirit of service through their leadership, commitment, and creativity?

Beginning in April, members are invited to nominate outstanding volunteers for the prestigious IMA Global Awards. The award nomination page will open on April 1, and the deadline for the submission of nominations is April 19, 2019. Note that members must be nominated by another IMA member; IMA will not accept self-nominations. The categories are:
  • IMA Champion: provides volunteer service “above and beyond the call of duty”
  • Exemplary Board Member: serves as an example for all Board members to follow
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: shows extraordinary leadership and dedication to IMA over a lifetime of service
  • Exemplary Young Professional: displays an “outstanding and creative approach to problem solving”
Pat Stefanczyk, CAE, IMA vice president of governance and volunteer relations, said, “The IMA Global Awards celebrate the sacrifice and excellence of our outstanding volunteers. This year’s awards are particularly special, as they come as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of IMA’s founding. We invite all members to put forth the names of those individuals who stand out from their peers and inspire all of us through the example they set.”
