The contest ? open to all IMA members, including students, young professionals, and academics ? will accept short, creative video submissions (30 seconds to two minutes in length). Videos, which can be shot using an iPhone, Android, GoPro, DSLR, or video camera, can take a variety of approaches, including an entertaining or informational video, a career video, or any other creative format. For ideas, you can view last year?s winners. You can also see IMA?s new TV commercial on YouTube for inspiration, too.
IMA?s panel of independent judges will review all submissions and select up to three finalists, which will be shared on IMA?s Facebook channel on February 19, 2018. These videos will then be featured on IMA?s Facebook page until February 26, 2018, when the number of likes for each video will determine the winner.
Prizes for the top entries include (in USD):
- First (Grand Prize): $2,500 plus travel costs for up to five team members to attend IMA?s Annual Conference & Expo in June 2018 in Indianapolis, Ind. All team members will also receive the Wiley CMAexcel CMA Review Course Scholarship ($1,795 value).
- Second: $1,500 and up to five team members will also receive the Wiley CMAexcel Online Intensive Review with CMA Test Bank Scholarship ($470 value).
- Third: $1,000 and up to five team members will also receive the Wiley CMAexcel Online Intensive Review with CMA Test Bank Scholarship ($470 value).
- Up to 5 Honorable Mention prizes: $100 Visa Gift Card.
