Montvale, N.J., October 26, 2016 – In response to growing market needs in Southeast Asia, IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) – one of the largest associations of accountants and finance professionals in business – announced today the publication of its latest book, “Succeeding at Business in Southeast Asia: Common Mistakes Companies Make and How to Avoid Them.”
Author Eric Moraczewski, founder of FDI Strategies, LLC, uses his expertise as a business strategist in China to provide a framework for developing an Asian market entry strategy through cross-cultural insights, compelling anecdotes and seasoned advice. In the book, Moraczewski provides actionable steps to create a growth strategy, use that strategy to build a plan and use that plan to execute and succeed in the market. The book also examines joint venture and franchising opportunities while addressing common pitfalls companies encounter when entering the Asian market.
“Since Asia makes up about 60 percent of the world economy based on population, businesses need to consider embracing expansion into this region,” said Moraczewski. “This book, informed by my years of experience in successfully growing businesses in Southeast Asia, provides the tools to do so.”
Over the course of his career, Moraczewski has become a highly sought after expert in the finance and accounting profession and has provided strategy services to companies in a wide range of industries. While he specializes in the Asia market, his business ventures have taken him to more than 20 countries on four continents.
This year, IMA opened its seventh global office to support the Southeast Asia region. IMA Southeast Asia provides local services to IMA members and supports the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) – the leading global management accounting credential – in this growing region.
