ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) recently announced the winners of its most recent awards for both the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) and CSCA® (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) exams.

CMA Exam: English

Of the individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the May/June 2019 testing window, the following were recognized for their exceptional performance:

  • Parthasarathy S U, of Chennai, India, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
  • Vianca Pearl Inot Amores, CPA, of Cebu City, Philippines, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
  • Lester Cortez, of Doha, Qatar, received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
  • Dongjing Yao, of Jinghaisilu, China; and Yvette Kristel Aliwals Jasa, of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.

In the student category, Joshua Mortensen, of Provo, Utah, received the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Miaolin Feng, of Xiamen China; Nikita Anil Jain, of Gujarat, India; Shubham Singhal, of Delhi, India; and Cleo Ariana Tangpuz Ventura, CPA, of Cebu, Philippines.

CMA Exam: Chinese

Of the individuals who took the CMA exam in Simplified Chinese during the July 2019 testing period, ICMA recognized the following for their outstanding performance:

  • Fang Di received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score. 
  • Yang Wang and Xinlong Wang both received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
  • Yanjie Cao; Lingyun Wang; Chenxi Yang; and Yandong Zhen received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.

In the student category, Yu Cao and Meng Wang earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Gaixia Sun; Xiao Sun; Fan Wu; and Fang Wu

CSCA Exam

Of the individuals who took the CSCA exam during the September 2019 testing window, the following were recognized for their outstanding performance: 

  • Michael Kraios, of Newport Beach, Calif., received the CSCA Gold Award for achieving the highest exam score.
  • Jonathan Fina, of Arlington Heights, Ill., received the CSCA Silver Award for achieving the second-highest exam score.
  • Aye Khine Mon, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Craig James Oppenheim, of Carmel, Ind., received the CSCA Bronze Award for achieving the third-highest exam score.
