The annual IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) Student Leadership Conference (SLC), taking place November 9-11 at the Marriott Marquis Houston, located in downtown Houston, is an educational event filled with inspiring speakers, prime networking and recruiting opportunities, and of course, a little fun. But don’t just take IMA’s word for it. Check out a few quotes from past SLC attendees below.
“It’s great how very successful people were willing to share some of their experience and advice to help students succeed.” Eneida Ziraj, Eastern Michigan University
“At IMA’s Student Leadership Conference, you learn about things you need to grow as a professional throughout your career that are not in your text books.” Diane Isibor, Valdosta State University
“IMA’s Student Leadership Conference helped me expand my horizon and understand what opportunities are available to me as a student and as a future professional in accounting or finance.” Ryan Hawkley, Brigham Young University
“To say that I learned something new from the sessions at IMA’s Student Leadership Conference would be an understatement. The speakers were not only adamant on disseminating knowledge, but they were equally interested in INSPIRING us into ACTION.” Izz Ghanaa Ansari, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan
