Introducing the 2023-2024 Europe Regional Advisory Committee
IMA Europe is proud to announce the roster for this year’s Europe Regional Advisory Committee. This group helps ensure that the strategy of IMA Europe aligns with the overall strategy of IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants). It also works to find ways to make sure that programs and services are adapted to local needs in order to better serve IMA’s members in Europe.
Members of the 2023-2024 Europe RAC are:
- Nadine Hoser – Germany
- Zhanat Syzdykov – Kazakhstan
- Rob Mars, CMA – Netherlands
- Kerim Kazgan, Ph.D. – Turkey
- Brigitte de Graaff (Chair), Ph.D., CMA, CSCA – Netherlands
- Alain Mulder - Staff Liaison
Among its most important responsibilities, the Europe RAC reviews the risks and opportunities in the region and works with the local market staff to provide input to their strategic plan. It also provides monthly input to the Global Markets Committee, part of the IMA Global Board, as well as the full IMA Global Board. Finally, it helps local staff build relationships with external stakeholders, including corporate, academic, and government institutions.
“The work of this committee is vitally important, as it provides the voice of the local member,” said Mulder. “We aim to help identify and attract local market volunteers, develop the local leadership pipeline, build relationships with partners, and keep track of the pulse of the region—all so that we identify new opportunities and provide the best value for both new and potential members.”
