IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) now provides a way for members to listen to some of its most popular webinars online, 24/7. And for members in Europe, the news is even better.

IMA is now offering the first in a new Webinars on Demand series, designed specifically for members who want to access the content of popular IMA webinars but need to listen at their convenience. The series features previously recorded, highly rated IMA webinars on key management accounting topics. The first offering, Webinars on Demand: Technology, is available now and includes the following six webinars on the topics of technology and data analytics:
  • Reporting, Business Intelligence, and Data Science: Striving for Analytical Maturity
  • Robotic Process Automation
  • Show Me the Money: How IoT Spells Opportunity for Payments
  • Harnessing Predictive Technologies to Improve Demand Planning and Forecasting Accuracy
  • Data Science in Accounting: Foundational Skills in Modern Analytics
  • Building a “Data” Company via Data Modelling and Analytics
IMA members in Europe can access the Webinars on Demand series free of charge; please visit this special link to learn more and to subscribe.

After successful completion of each webinar video and an assessment, members will earn between 1 and 1.5 ICMA continuing professional education (CPE) credits (depending on the webinar’s length). Those completing all six webinars will earn 8.5 CPE credits.

Said Debbie Warner, CAE, CPLP, IMA vice president of education and career services, “We developed this product in response to member feedback that it’s sometimes difficult for those outside of the U.S. to participate in our webinars due to the difference in time zones. The Webinars on Demand series now provides all members an opportunity to gain important insights into the profession’s hottest topics and the chance to earn valuable CPE credit – all in a way that’s easier and more convenient.”

Webinars on Demand: Technology aligns with the Technology and Analytics domain from IMA’s enhanced Management Accounting Competency Framework, which was released in February 2019.
