IMA Takes a Leading Role at Academic Events

IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) recently participated in influential gatherings of the academic community, helping to share thought leadership and discuss the many resources IMA has to offer:

AAA Management Accounting Section (MAS) and Beta Alpha Psi

IMA was also the exclusive sponsor of the day-long IMA Doctoral Colloquium, held on January 4. Fifty-six doctoral candidates who are focusing their research efforts on management accounting participated in this event. Duong and IMA Professor-in-Residence and Associate Professor at Baylor University Laurie Burney, Ph.D., CMA, CSCA, presented the attendees with vital information about IMA research and teaching resources. Burney also served on a panel titled, “Roundtable Discussion: Data for Managerial Accounting Research.”
