Montvale, N.J., July 8, 2019 – The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA®), the certification division of IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), named Perdue Farms the recipient of this year’s prestigious Bulloch Award. The award was bestowed at IMA’s Annual Meeting of Members, held during IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo, in San Diego. Dana Morgan, Director of Customer Accounting, accepted this award on the company’s behalf.

The Bulloch Award is given annually to an organization that has demonstrated outstanding sponsorship, encouragement, and support of the CMA program. It honors the memory of Dr. James Bulloch, the first managing director of ICMA. Mr. Bulloch helped to create the original CMA framework as well as develop the high standards of the CMA program that continued to be followed today. Previous Bulloch Award winners have included Phillips, Ping An Insurance, IBM, Cummins, China South Industries Group, and Johnson & Johnson.

“ICMA is pleased to recognize the support of Perdue Farms, which has encouraged their employees to pursue the CMA certification. Their sponsorship of training programs demonstrates their commitment to helping their staff achieve mastery of key accounting and finance skills, especially decision support, planning, and analysis. We look forward to continued collaboration with companies such as Perdue as they take steps to bring the CMA program to their organizations,” said Paul E. Juras, CMA, CPA, Ph.D., ICMA Board of Regents chair (Fiscal Year 2019).
