Montvale, N.J., February 13, 2018 — IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), the association of accountants and financial professionals in business, today announced Early Bird registration for its 2018 Annual Conference & Expo (ACE2018). The conference will officially kick off IMA’s 100-year anniversary celebration, and will be held at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis from June 16-20, 2018.
Attendees will be able to explore 9 specialty tracks designed for management accountants and choose from more than 70 job-relevant sessions to customize their learning experience. In addition to planning, budgeting and forecasting; small business and M&A; ethics; technology; financial close and reporting; leadership and professional development; accounting hot topics; and governance, risk management and internal controls, the conference will offer a new track focused on strategy and competitive analysis.
Keynote presenters include:
- Emmitt Smith, Pro Football Hall of Famer, NFL’s All-Time Leading Rusher, 3-Time Super Bowl Champion, presenting “Game On: A Championship Vision. You have View Instead of Value”
- Patricia Wilson, former CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Greater Bay Area, who will present “Leadership Lessons from an Accidental CEO”
- Alec Ross, New York Times Best-Selling Author and Former Senior Advisor for Innovation at the State Department, presenting “Understanding Our Changing World”
- Lori Victor Feller, Global Partner, Cognitive and Analytics at IBM, presenting “Artificial Intelligence: Why It Matters Now More Than Ever”
More than 800 professionals from large and small businesses, public corporations, academic institutions and government agencies are expected to attend this year’s conference, providing attendees with ample opportunities to make strong business connections and explore new ways to boost their career in management accounting.
