ICMA Announces Medal Winners for CMA Certified Management Accountant China Program

Montvale, N.J. – ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants), the certification division of IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), today announced the most recent medal winners for its Chinese-language CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam program.
Of the 3,193 individuals who took the two-part CMA exam in Simplified Chinese during the November 2014 testing period, medals were awarded to the following for their exceptional performance:
- Meng Hong of Xicheng, Beijing, People’s Republic of China, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Lei Zhang of Xicheng, Beijing, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Qiang Li of Haidian, Beijing, received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
ICMA also recognized the following with Certificates of Distinguished Performance: Wei Cheng of Nanjing, Jiangsu; Hua Li of Dongcheng, Beijing; He Ma of Fuzhou, Fujian; Minglei Qian of Nanjing, Jiangsu; Tao Wang of Xicheng, Beijing; Yingjie Xu of Qingdao, Shandong; and Ziran Xu of Hongkou, Shanghai.
In addition, Difei Hu of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, received the Priscilla S. Payne Student Performance Award for achieving the highest score as a student during this testing period.

Weaver, Ph.D., CMA, CFM, chair of ICMA Board of Regents. “Since the introduction of the two-part exam into Simplified Chinese, we are seeing steadily increasing interest in this program, particularly among employees at state-owned enterprises. We are confident that this growth will continue as management accounting professionals in this region recognize how earning this certification can improve their career opportunities and benefit their respective organizations.”
