IMA’s webinar programs offer the latest thought leadership and insights into current issues and trends in the profession. They provide members with practical skills and knowledge they can use in their current or future roles. Each year, IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) conducts more than 65 “live” webinars, most of which are eligible for NASBA continuing professional education (CPE) credits. All are offered at no cost to members and cover key knowledge areas of the IMA Management Accounting Competency Framework.

Webinar programs include: 

  • Inside Talk: Unique 60-minute webinars highlighting emerging issues and relevant topics such as FP&A technology, data analytics, continuous accounting, AP automation and workflow, RPA, AI, risk management, and more from industry experts.
  • IMA’s Leadership Academy: A monthly webinar series that empowers entry- and intermediate-level management accountants to become leaders within the profession.
  • Strategic Management Series: A series of engaging webinars that focuses on various elements of strategy and competitive analysis that is of importance and interest to management accountants.
  • Tech Talk Series: IMA’s Technology Solutions and Practices Committee produces quarterly webinars diving deep into specific tech topics and trends impacting the profession in these insightful, 90-minute webinars.

Specialty webinars include: 

  • CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) and CSCA® (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) Candidate webinars provide exam tips and strategies to help members through exam preparation.
  • Faculty Friday webinars provide timely tools, tips, and best practices for academics teaching relevant, real-world topics to their students.
