Due to the coronavirus epidemic and concern for the health and wellbeing of all, IMA^® (Institute of Management Accountants) made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Annual Conference & Expo, scheduled for June in Atlanta. IMA’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Members will still go on – and will be held virtually, for the first time in the organization’s history. Members can register here.

This virtual event, free for all members, will be held on June 20, 2020, at 10 a.m. EDT. During this one-hour meeting, members will hear from senior IMA volunteer and staff leaders on topics including successes of the past year, goals for the future, and the organization’s focus on business continuity during the COVID-19 crisis.

Members from around the world will have the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of the following speakers:

• Christian Cuzick, CMA, Current Global Board Chair
• Paul Juras, Ph.D., CMA, CPA, Incoming Global Board Chair
• Jeff Thomson, CMA, CSCA, CAE, IMA President and CEO
• Dennis Whitney, CMA, CFM, CAE, Senior Vice President, ICMA

“Although the circumstances of this decision are unfortunate, we are pleased that technology affords us the opportunity to connect more inclusively as an organization,” said Thomson. “This year’s Annual Meeting will allow members who might not have been able to attend the live Conference in Atlanta to participate and to hear from senior leaders about the accomplishments of the past year and the path forward as our community moves ahead stronger than ever in the wake of this global crisis.”
