ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) recently announced the winners of its most recent awards for the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam in both English and Chinese.
CMA Exam: English
Of the individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the May-July 2020 testing window, the following were recognized for their exceptional performance:
- Richard Mattei, Jr., CMA, of Orem, Utah, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Zhen Wang, CMA, of Chengdu, China, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Garrett Gold, CMA, of Boerne, Texas, received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Wei Fang, of Shenzhen, China; and Yuchen Liu, CMA, of Beijing, China, received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Victoria Heavey, of Knoxville, Tenn., received the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Iane Francis Pardillo Canizares, of Cebu, Philippines; Yidian Gao, of San Diego, Calif.; Theresa Kate Regis Palompon, of Cebu, Philippines; and Marley Tunnell, of Hummelstown, Penn.
CMA Exam: Chinese
Of the individuals who took the Chinese language CMA exam on July 25, 2020, ICMA recognized the following for their outstanding performance:
- Chuangao Tang, CMA, and Jiacheng You both received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Zeping Cai and Ye Yin, CMA, both received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Yunjun He, CMA, CPA; Feng Hu, CMA; and Yongfu Zhang, CMA, received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Jiawen Han and Xiangru Meng, CMA, CPA, earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Shuhui Li; Lingling Liao; Ying Liu; and Xiya Tan.
Due to COVID-19, the Chinese language exam originally scheduled for April 11, 2020, was rescheduled to July 26, 2020. Of the individuals who took the CMA exam on that testing date, ICMA recognized the following for their outstanding performance:
- Yang Shen, CMA, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Cuixiang Wang, CMA; Qing Yu; Genlian Zhang, CMA; and Li Zhang, CMA, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Senlei Liu, CMA, received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Xiaomei Zhao earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Minhui Jia; Xin Li; Hui Wu; and Zhenyong Zhuang.
