IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) is continuing its popular Women’s Accounting Leadership Series with events this October at two new locations: Chicago and Munich, Germany. These engaging, interactive discussions allow members – both women and men, across all professional levels – to hear from inspiring speakers on how to expand their business network and enhance their leadership skills. Other topics covered include work/life balance, accounting and finance trends, and personal career stories.
Chicago
The Chicago event will feature both the Women’s Accounting Leadership conference as well as a movie night the evening before the main event. Members can attend the Conference, the movie, or both; both events will be held on the campus of DePaul University, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, Ill.
The Conference will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 11 and attendees can earn up to four CPE credits. Speakers will include:

The evening before, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., IMA will also host a movie screening and discussion of Kelly Richmond Pope’s award-winning documentary, All the Queen’s Horses, which investigates how a city comptroller was able to steal $37,000 a day for two decades. Attendees can earn up to 2.5 CPE credits.

Munich
This fall, IMA will host its first Women’s Accounting Leadership Series event in Germany on October 23, from 2:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Excelsior Hotel in Munich.
The event will be free to attend and will provide attendees with up to 3.5 CPE credits (points). Featured speakers include:
