IMA? (Institute of Management Accountants) is hosting two essential COSO live certificate workshops at its Montvale, N.J., global headquarters as part of a week-long event in April.

The workshops will take participants through the COSO tools using real-world examples and live classroom training, enabling them to develop a more successful system of internal control and better manage organizational risk.

  • Monday-Wednesday, April 22-24
  • Learn how to design, implement, and conduct an effective internal control system to help an organization gain operational efficiencies, deter fraud, make better business decisions, and positively influence better risk management practices
COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Live Certificate Workshop (18 NASBA CPE)

  • Learn how to manage risk more effectively and strengthen strategic achievements through integration of the 2017 updated COSO ERM Framework concepts and principles

?These workshops provide an exceptional opportunity for attendees to attain vital skills needed using these COSO tools and to learn best practices from Dr. Richtermeyer and Dr. Walker, renowned in the fields of internal control and ERM, respectively,? said Robert Golder, IMA senior manager of educational products and processes. ?Attendees can attend one or both workshops, depending on their schedule and organizational needs. Either way, attendees will come away from these programs with critical knowledge that will help their organizations more consistently achieve their objectives.?

Prior to attending either workshop, participants will be required to complete online, self-study prework. After successfully completing the IC course and an online final exam, participants will earn a total of 25.5 NASBA credits, a COSO certificate of educational achievement, and a digital badge. Those who complete the ERM workshop and pass the online final will earn 18 NASBA CPE credits, a COSO certificate, and a digital badge.

IMA is also offering a special discount to those who attend both workshops: Enroll in both and save 20% (and earn 43.5 NASBA CPE).
