To help members navigate the future with confidence, IMA? (Institute of Management Accountants) recently launched a new Technology & Analytics Center on its website. The goal: to help finance and accounting professionals address the risks of automation in their roles and provide opportunities for upskilling. The center serves as a centralized source for IMA's educational products and services addressing the topic of technology and analytics.

Available resources are divided into four categories: ?We?ve reached a critical juncture in our profession where every IMA member must be continually upskilling, learning new terminology, adopting best practices, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives in meaningful ways,? said Jeff Thomson, CMA, CSCA, CAE, IMA president and CEO. ?This new, ?go-to? resource shares IMA?s learnings and offers materials that are actionable and relevant to members? roles.?

Under the ?Research? section, for example, members are invited to access the following:

?The Data Analytics Implementation Journey in Business and Finance? ? Advanced analytics enable organizations to gain insight from data and to better perform in fiercely competitive markets. Based on a survey of 170 IMA members from around the world, this report examines the extent to which leading-edge analytics have been implemented by organizations, the business case for analytics initiatives, and other issues surrounding implementation.

?How to Embrace Data Analytics to Be Successful? ? This follow-up report to ?The Data Analytics Implementation Journey in Business and Finance? identifies the factors critical for successful deployment of leading-edge analytics.
