IMA? (Institute of Management Accountants) is now seeking proposals for presentations and educational programs for ACE2019, to be held June 15-19, 2019, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, Calif. At the Conference, we?ll celebrate IMA?s 100-year anniversary, honoring our accomplishments of the past and sharing a vision for the future.

We invite members to submit session proposals aligned with our eight subject-focused specialty tracks:

  • Accounting ?Hot Topics?
  • Business Acumen and Operations
  • Ethics
  • Leadership and Professional Development
  • Reporting and Control
  • Small Business and M&A

If you wish to be considered as a speaker, please complete a speaker proposal online to IMA by 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 26, 2018. After you submit your proposal, you will receive a speaker proposal confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, then your submission did not go through, and you will need to resubmit your proposal.

Also, if you know of other professionals who would make great speakers at the Conference, please invite them to submit a session proposal. Conference presenters receive special benefits: one complimentary Conference registration; a one-night stay at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marino (one night per session); and a $500 stipend to defray travel expenses (one per session).

The 2019 Annual Conference Volunteer Program Committee will review each submission, and you will receive notification by late November 2018 if your proposal has been accepted. IMA will review multiple proposals from the same individual.

Of special note for our Academic members: Please be advised there will be a separate call-for-proposal request in the fall of 2018 to submit Applied Research topics for the Conference.
