Don’t forget: IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) wants you to share stories – photos and videos, too – about what it means to be an IMA member.

The call is part of our 100-year anniversary celebration, which kicked off at our 2018 Annual Conference & Expo in Indianapolis and will culminate at our Conference in San Diego next June.

Member stories are already posted on our website – but we’re always looking for more.

Look for our questions on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and share, on your own personal social media channels and using the hashtag #IMA100Years, on any of the following topics:
  • Why you’re proud to be an IMA member
  • Your best memory as an IMA Conference participant
  • How IMA has supported your career
We’ll continue to announce topics on our social media channels and will be using the content we receive on our 100-year website. As part of this effort, we’ll also be sharing the history of IMA and key highlights of our 100-year journey on our social media as well.

If you’d like to submit a longer, more in-depth story, IMA’s flagship magazine, Strategic Finance, is seeking submissions from members on their favorite personal experiences with IMA or how the profession has changed over the years. IMA’s 100-year celebration will culminate at our Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego in June 2019. Right now, we’re taking speaker proposals, so if you’d like to be part of the celebration, don’t forget to submit your proposal by August 26, 2018.
