Congratulations to the creative team behind the “I Will Earn It” video, the Grand Prize winner of IMA®’s (Institute of Management Accounting) first-ever CMA® (Certified Management Accounting) Video Contest.

“I Will Earn It” features a student battling several hurdles, including no time, discouragement, fear, and self-doubt, on his path toward passing the CMA exam. The imaginative video concept combined live-action cinematography and a computer-generated video game sequence. Victorious in the end, the student collects his prize, the CMA certificate, before waking up from his daydream with a renewed sense of confidence and determination. The “I Will Earn It” team, based in the Philippines, was chosen by Facebook voters, and their video will be featured on IMA’s official Facebook channel.

Rounding out an impressive list of finalists is: “CMA Rap,” “You’ve Got to Earn It,” and “Financial Pros.” To view the winning videos and learn more about the contest prizes, please see below:

First (Grand Prize): I Will Earn It (The Road to Becoming a CMA)
$2,500. Travel costs will be paid for team members to attend IMA's Annual Conference in Denver, Colo. All members will also receive the Wiley CMAexcel CMA Review Course Scholarship.
