More than 800 IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) members and finance and accounting professionals met in the Mile High City to attend ACE2017, held on June 17-21 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Check out the highlight reel here: ACE2017 video.
New this year, the Conference featured eight Specialty Tracks designed to fit career needs. Learning tracks included: planning, budgeting and forecasting; small business and M&A; ethics; technology; financial close and reporting; leadership and professional development; accounting hot topics; governance, risk management, and internal controls; and more. Attendees had the opportunity to learn insights from leaders in the fields of entertainment, travel and hospitality, education, diversity and inclusion, and accounting and finance.
Conference attendees can view copies of the session presentations on www.imaconference.org (user name and password required).
In addition to the educational sessions, this year’s Conference also launched three new networking events: Career Central, Membership Mingle, and Beers with Peers. Members also networked at the Solutions Showcase; award events which recognized the accomplishments of distinguished members, chapters and councils and organizations; and exchanged insights at the Management Accounting Roundtables. To view highlights of the Conference, including videos and session excerpts, check out IMA’s Facebook page. You can also follow IMA on Twitter at #IMA17ACE to see how it all went down in real time.
