As advancements in technology continue to influence the ways by which business is conducted around the world, IMA’s (Institute of Management Accountants) Technology Solutions and Practices Committee (TSP) is hard at work to help keep members in the know about changes within the accounting and finance profession. For more information about recent highlights from the TSP Committee, see the “Technology As A Core Competency” article in the July issue of SF Magazine written by Mike Maloney, senior network administrator at IMA.

The article includes information about the Committee’s popular TechTalk webinar series, Tech Practices column appearing monthly in SF Magazine, recent Advocacy efforts, Community Outreach initiatives, and Tech Topic Data Sheets.

The TSP Committee is one of four active and engaged Advocacy committees at IMA. On behalf of its members, IMA informs and advocates on key technical and regulatory matters that affect the work of management accountants. Other committees include: the Financial Reporting Committee, Small Business Financial and Regulatory Affairs Committee, and the Committee on Ethics.
