IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) and Pace University are pleased to announce details for the upcoming Women’s Accounting Leadership Series (WALS) event. The event will be held on Friday, May 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rice University in Houston. WALS is open to all female accounting and finance professionals. Whether just starting out, steadily climbing the career ladder, striving for work/life balance, refreshing their knowledge, or anything in between, women in the profession are invited to take part in this inspiring event.
In addition to gaining valuable insights into advancing their career, attendees will earn four NASBA-approved continuing professional education credits.
WALS —a special event created by women, for women — provides a forum for women in accounting and finance to share thoughts and experiences on leadership development and strategies for success. Attendees will have an opportunity to expand their professional network, learn about the latest industry updates, and discuss specific issues facing women in business.
