Looking for an opportunity to share your expertise and become more involved in IMA? (Institute of Management Accountants)? Now is your chance to contribute to your profession and your association.

IMA is seeking proposals for presentations and educational programs to be included in our 2018 Annual Conference & Expo, to be held June 16-20, 2018, at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

Michael Brown attended ACE2017 in Denver this past June and shared his thoughts about sessions: ?The IMA clearly puts a great deal of effort in finding a variety of relevant topics AND highly competent speakers to deliver them. Having attended a number of similar conferences over the years, I can honestly say I've never seen such consistently high quality from all the speakers I had the opportunity to see.?

Tracks and topics for ACE2018 include:

  • Governance, risk management, and internal controls
  • Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Financial close and reporting
  • Small business, mergers & acquisitions, and related topics
  • Strategy and competitive analysis
  • Technology
  • Leadership and professional development
  • Ethics
  • Other relevant management accounting topics (i.e. best practices, innovation, etc.)
If you?d like to be considered as a speaker during ACE2018, visit IMA?s Conference website (www.imaconference.org) and complete the online Call for Sessions form. Speaker proposals will be accepted through August 27, 2017. Additionally, if you know of any other professionals who would make great speakers at the Conference, please invite them to submit a session proposal.

After submitting your proposal, you will receive a speaker proposal confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, then your submission did not go through, and you will need to resubmit.

The 2018 Annual Conference Volunteer Program Committee will review each submission, and you will receive notification by mid-November 2017 if your proposal has been accepted. IMA will review multiple proposals from the same individual.
