European Accounting & Finance Conference 

IMA Europe will be hosting a day-long European Accounting & Finance Conference in Amsterdam on 20 April 2023. Themed “A New Frontier,” the conference will bring together finance professionals and experts from across Europe, where together, attendees can network and discover new ideas, insights, and opportunities. The conference will offer IMA members eight CPE credits for attendance; registration is now open. 

Attendees will gain valuable insights and learn best practices on topics such as cybersecurity; sustainability; and diversity, equity, and inclusion. The conference will provide a great opportunity to connect with peers and engage with experts from across Europe, including featured panelists and speakers from PwC, the Netherlands Ministry of Health, PhotoDelta, Carbon Equity, the Business Partner Institute, Jedox, and more.

FP&A Roundtable with IMA Global Board Members

 

On 24 March, the IMA Switzerland Chapter will host an FP&A Roundtable with members of the IMA Global Board of Directors. The event will be held at the Hotel Angleterrre in Lausanne and will feature speakers Ahmed Hassan, head of decision support and finance business partnering, Vodafone Egypt; and Hessel Brower, head of controlling and finance at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund. Discussion topics will include:

  • Strategic finance and the evolution of FP&A
  • Finance business partnering and decision support
  • Using FP&A skills in driving your company’s strategy

EAA Event

 

The 45th Annual Congress of the European Accounting Association in Finland will be hosted by Aalto University School of Business. The Congress will take place both in the capital city of Helsinki and the neighboring city of Espoo on 24-26 May 2023.
