IMA Europe has formed two new strategic relationships – and renewed a current one – to benefit management accounting professionals in the region.

Schulmeister

IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) recently forged a strategic partnership with Schulmeister, a leading human resource consultancy based in Europe with locations in Vienna, Linz, Graz, Hamburg, and Prague.

Thanks to this new partnership, management accounting professionals working with Schulmeister will be supported by groundbreaking competence and shared knowledge as well as through practical career tips and joint networking events.

Those who take advantage of Schulmeister’s latest services will benefit from a three-month IMA trial membership, which includes access to IMA's Career Driver® assessment and development tool, select free courses and webinars, IMA’s professional publications, networking through IMA’s local chapters and myIMA Network, and access to IMA’s CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification. “A crucial element for the continuous development of the accountant and management accounting system is the maximization of the potential of those who strive to plan and advance their careers in a targeted manner,” said Bernardin Generalao, IMA director of regional partner relations. “By working with Schulmeister, we can make the most of our respective tools, knowledge and resources and make it accessible to talent.”

“With this strategic alliance, companies and individuals can access key resources and services that lead into the international and Digital Age, drive change in accounting, and ensure future growth,” said Matthias Schulmeister.

International College of Commerce (ICC)

IMA recently formed a relationship with a new course provider, the International College of Commerce (ICC). ICC was founded in 2000 by a group of educators with the primary objective to make applied accounting, finance, and management education of international standards available to students, businesses, governments, and NGOs in the Benelux region. In 2001, the college introduced all professional accounting bodies from the United Kingdom to the Benelux education sector.

As a new CMA course provider, ICC will play an important role in helping candidates prepare for their upcoming exams. ICC has many approved course provider resources in the Netherlands and across Europe and thanks to this new arrangement, ICC is committed to working closing with IMA to provide a unique and extensive learning portfolio with experience and support to students and companies in Benelux. EMEA Recruitment

In addition, IMA has renewed its business alliance with EMEA Recruitment. The two organizations formed a business alliance two years ago and have renewed their work together for another year. Each year, both organizations intend to support the careers of accounting and finance professionals in Europe better.

The strategic relationship between IMA and EMEA Recruitment supports professionals through shared thought leadership, relevant career development information, and joint business networking events. EMEA candidates will receive a free three-month trial membership from IMA. This benefit includes access to IMA’s proprietary CareerDriver® assessment and development tool, select free courses and webinars, IMA’s professional publications, networking through IMA’s local chapters and myIMA Network, and access to IMA’s CMA program.

“A crucial element to furthering the management accounting profession is to support those looking to explore future career options and maximize their potential,” said Alain Mulder, senior director of IMA Europe operations. “By working with EMEA Recruitment, we’re able to share valuable tools, information, and resources to a larger pool of professionals.”

Added Paul Toms, founder of EMEA Recruitment, “With this strategic alliance, businesses and individuals now have greater access to resources and services to help them adapt to the Digital Age and changes in the profession and to prepare for future growth.”
