Amid lockdowns and other challenges, IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) members in Europe had the opportunity to attend several highly anticipated virtual events.
February 18: CMA Self-Study: Everything You Need to Know
One of the strengths of the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification program is flexibility and the ability for candidates to develop a personalized study plan. That’s why a self-study option is one of the most popular ways to prepare for the CMA exam.
In this presentation, “CMA Self-Study: Everything You Need to Know,” sponsored by Gleim, attendees learned about best resources and study materials to help them prepare for the CMA exams at their own pace and from the comfort and safety of home.
The session featured opening remarks by Alain Mulder, IMA senior director, Europe operations, followed by a talk by Bernardin Generalao, IMA director, partner relations, on "Upskill with the CMA Certification.”
The event also featured Brigitte de Graaff, CMA, Ph.D. candidate, VU Amsterdam; member, IMA Global Board of Directors; and vice president of IMA’s Amsterdam Chapter, who was interviewed by Mulder on the topic of “Becoming a Leader through the CMA.”
February 25: Upskill for Success with CA controller akademie
On February 25, IMA hosted “Upskill for Success: Everything You Need to Know” with CA controller akademie.
