IMA’s Moscow Chapter held another successful event, this time attracting senior-level managers from the surrounding area, on 29 January.

More than 80 individuals participated in the event, which provided attendees with the opportunity to learn more about financial processes in the hospitality industry, the sources of long- and short-term growth, inventory management, collections, and managing the cost of business.

The event was held in collaboration with CFO CAFÉ, which organizes and hosts a variety of events in Moscow.

The event included presentations by Sergey Chadin, financial director GC; and Anastasia Aminova, head of finance, Auchan Retail.

Kicking off the event was Moscow Chapter President Igor Fesenko, CMA, who gave a short update on upcoming activities in the Moscow region. Alain Mulder, IMA director of European operations, also gave a presentation about upcoming changes to the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam, which will take effect in January 2020.
