IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) has several exciting opportunities this fall for both academics and students.

Faculty Fridays

IMA’s popular Faculty Friday series continues this fall with a presentation by Sean Stein Smith, DBA, CMA, CPA, CGMA, CFE, assistant professor at Lehman College (CUNY), on the topic of cryptocurrencies. Additionally, in December, the Faculty Friday series will offer a presentation by Monique Kelley, from Fresno City College, and Wendy Tietz, Ph.D., CMA, CPA, from Kent State University, on using TikTok and other social media tools in the classroom. They will discuss teaching accounting using student-focused techniques that resonate with a tech savvy audience.

And looking into 2022, stay tuned for topics such as ethics in the Digital Age and more. For a list of Faculty Friday and other IMA webinars, visit this link to learn more. If you have a suggestion for a future topic, please contact Jodi Ryan at jryan@imanet.org.
