IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) has something for everyone on campus this spring: Two Faculty Friday webinars and a newly launched webinar series for students.

Faculty Fridays

These popular, hour-long webinars cover topics to help faculty find best practices and resources to add excitement and energy to the in-person or virtual classroom experience. They offer one hour of continuing professional education (CPE) credit.

The next Faculty Friday webinar, “Lean in the Classroom-Developing Relevant, Value-Adding Accountants,” will be held on April 16 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET. Featured speakers are seasoned educators Laurie Burney, Ph.D., CMA, CSCA, associate professor, Baylor University; and Amal Said, Ph.D., associate professor, Northern Kentucky University. Burney and Said will introduce the concept of Lean, explain its relevance, and describe approaches and resources for teaching Lean.
