Important ICMA Announcements
CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) candidates should take note of the following important updates:
Next Exam Windows: Registration Now Open
Registration is open for the next two exam windows: January/February 2026 and May/June 2026. To schedule your exam for either window, visit the exam registration page.
Got Questions? Check the CMA Handbook
All candidates are encouraged to review The CMA Handbook, which includes detailed information about the exam program, requirements, scores, and more. Many common candidate questions are answered in this handbook.
For additional study support, visit the CMA Candidate Resource Center, which offers helpful videos, practice questions, study guides, webinars, and other tools to help you prepare for success.
IMA Ethics Policy: Know It, Live It
Ethics is a key topic tested on the CMA exam, and understanding the ethics policy of IMA is essential for all CMA candidates.
Be sure to review the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice, which all IMA members pledge to uphold. The Statement outlines the principles and standards that guide professional conduct for management accountants and governs candidate behavior related to question sharing, copyright violation, and cheating.
Go for a Prometric Test Drive
For a small fee, candidates can take a Prometric “test drive.” A test drive provides the opportunity for CMA candidates to take a 30-minute "dry-run" of the complete in-center, computer-based experience prior to their exam. The session walks you through check-in procedures, such as ID and paperwork verification, while making sure you know exactly where to go on exam day.
While the test drive will not replicate actual CMA exam questions, it provides sample question types similar to those you may encounter on the actual exam.
The test drive is available at Prometric testing centers worldwide. Learn more and schedule your appointment at Prometric Test Drive.
