ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) announced the winners of its most recent CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) awards, recognizing professional and student members who participated in the English and Simplified Chinese exam programs.
English Exam: Professional Category
Of the 6,545 individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the May/June 2018 testing window, the following professionals were recognized for their exceptional performance:
In the student category, Margaret Ellen Rodeback, of American Fork, Utah, earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student.
The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Sai Durga Prasad Reddy Karna, of Andhra Pradesh, India; Naushal Nazar, of Kerala, India; Shamantha Kali Sekar, of Karnataka, India; and Eugene Jin Han Tan, of Singapore.
Chinese Exam: Professional Category
Of the approximately 13,916 individuals who took the CMA exam in Simplified Chinese during the July 2018 testing period, ICMA recognized the following professionals for their outstanding performance:
In the student category, Maonan Chen earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student.
The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Yamiao Jin; Shuqu Peng; and Lan Yao.
“ICMA congratulates these award recipients, who exemplify excellence in both our professional and student member categories,” said Paul Juras, CMA, CPA, Ph.D., chair, ICMA Board of Regents. “As demonstrated by the geographic diversity of these award winners, we continue to expand the global reach of the CMA and to attract professionals from around the world. - Emanuel Santana, of Escondido, Calif., received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Daniel Lemon, of Cypress, Texas; and Brandon Smith, of Dewey, Okla., both received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
