ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) announced the winners of its most recent CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) awards, recognizing professional and student members who participated in the English and Simplified Chinese exam programs.
English Exam: Professional Category
Of the 5,777 individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the January/February 2018 testing window, the following professionals were recognized for their exceptional performance:
- Yashpal Gupta, of Tamilnadu, India, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Kun Xie, of Chengdu, China, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Shewit Woldegiorgis, of San Diego, Calif., received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Aaron Zaehringer, of Marion, Iowa; and Mian Zhang, of Langfang, China, both received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
English Exam: Student Category
In the student category, Daniel Missethon, of Premstaetten, Austria, earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student.
The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Yu-Chien Chen, of New Taipei City, Taiwan; Zhenyu Qiu, of Dehong, China; Yongshi Su, of Melbourne, Australia; and Janfher Vergara Sobinsky, of Las Pinas City, Philippines.
Chinese Exam: Professional Category
Of the approximately 13,678 individuals who took the CMA exam in Simplified Chinese during the April 2018 testing period, ICMA recognized the following professionals for their outstanding performance:
- Xiaoxin Bai received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Fanqun Liu received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Ni Chang received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Na An and Rui Tang both received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
Chinese Exam: Student Category
In the student category, Wei Li earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student.
The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Xue Fan, Xun Xie, and Xiuzhi Zhang.
