The Financial Reporting Committee (“FRC”) of the Institute of Management Accountants (“IMA”) submitted a letter to provide feedback to the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union of the European Union regarding the following question:
Given the different levels of commitment to require IFRS as issued by the IASB around the globe, is it still appropriate that the IAS Regulation prevents the Commission from modifying the content of IFRS?
