Jane Karli recently retired from her position as director of investment accounting at Athene USA, recognized as a leading fixed-index annuity platform in the U.S. Prior to joining Athene, Jane enjoyed a long career at Principal Financial Group, where she served in many capacities in investment operations, corporate treasury, and investment accounting.

A member of IMA’s Des Moines Chapter, Jane represented IMA on the 2015-2016 COSO Advisory Council charged with updating COSO’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. She has served in multiple capacities at the IMA local chapter, regional council, and Global Board levels, including as a member of IMA’s Committee on Ethics and the Nominating Standing Board Committee. Jane is a member of the Governance Standing Board Committee and chair of the Strategic Planning Standing Board Committee for fiscal 2021-2022.
