Brigitte de Graaff, Ph.D., CMA, CSCA

Brigitte de Graaff is an assistant professor of accounting at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she also earned her Ph.D. as well as two master’s degrees in accounting and control and Dutch criminal law. De Graaff has broad experience in teaching in executive education, both through in-house training sessions at corporations as well as through the executive programs offered at the university. De Graaff also provides CMA prep courses in other European countries and has provided editorial assistance for CMA review materials.

De Graaff has been an active board member for IMA’s Amsterdam Chapter for 11 years, during which time she fulfilled multiple positions before becoming president-elect of the Chapter. De Graaff is the chair of IMA’s Volunteer Leadership Standing Board Committee and a member of the Governance Standing Board Committee. Previously, she chaired the Europe Regional Advisory Committee and was a member of the Global Markets Standing Board Committee and the Volunteer Leadership Standing Board Committee.
