We host a variety of local and global conferences and events each year, many of which are hosted by individual IMA chapters and councils. Qualified speakers are welcome to volunteer as presenters, share knowledge with other professionals, and build their experience.
IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo (ACE)
Each July and August, IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo Volunteer Planning Committee accepts proposals from speakers interested in presenting at our largest annual event. All proposals will be reviewed and applicants will be notified in the fall. Speakers receive a complimentary Conference registration, a $500 stipend to defray travel expenses, and a one-night stay (room and tax only) at the Conference hotel.
Please visit imaconference.org in July and August to submit a proposal for the following year’s Conference.

Local Chapter and Council Events
IMA’s network of local professional and student chapters regularly seeks volunteer speakers for local conferences, meetings, and other events. To volunteer to speak at one of these events, contact your local IMA chapter.
IMA Speakers Bureau
The IMA Speakers Bureau is an online portal that connects qualified speakers with organizers of finance and accounting events, meetings, and conferences. Members can join the Speakers Bureau by completing and maintaining a speaker profile. Event planners and chapter and council leaders can tap into the Speakers Bureau to find experts on a variety of topics.
