In a year like no other, the IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) global community will gather virtually to celebrate the achievements and highlights of the past fiscal year at the upcoming 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting of Members.
The meeting, themed “Making a Difference for Members,” will be held on June 24, 2021, and is free to attend and only open to IMA members. For the convenience of members around the world, IMA will host this event at two times: 9 a.m. EDT and 8 p.m. EDT.
Noted Jeff Thomson, CMA, CSCA, CAE, IMA president and CEO, “IMA’s 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting of Members is a global celebration of the skills, talents, and dedication of IMA members. Our members have demonstrated courage, care, and conviction of purpose in the face of extreme adversity, and this is a time to recognize all we have accomplished during this difficult year. You’ll also hear stories from members around the world about how IMA is supporting them in making a difference in their careers, their organizations, and their communities.”
Thomson and IMA CFO Doreen Remmen, CMA, CSCA, CAE, will review the highlights of IMA’s financial performance and membership success for FY 2020-2021. Other featured speakers will include members sharing their experiences about how IMA and the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) have made an impact on their lives and careers. Attendees will hear from the current Global Board Chair, the Chair-Elect, the incoming Chair-Elect, and several other longtime volunteer leaders.
All members—new, longstanding, and those in between—are encouraged to attend this virtual celebration to be inspired by stories of making a difference and to recognize their peers’ accomplishments.
