ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) recently announced the winners of its most recent awards for the English and Chinese-language CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam.
English Exam
Of the individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the September/October 2019 testing window, the following were recognized for their exceptional performance:
- Lorraine Grace Bumakil Calica, of Antipolo City, Philippines; and Michael John Ma-Alat Cortez, of Manila, Philippines, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- David A. Crisp, of Bixby, Okla., received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Jo-Anne Reinante Etin, of Manila, Philippines, received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Chetan Agarwal, of West Bengal, India; Cianne Manahan Cruz, of Manila, Philippines; and Arlette Daphne Horst, of Singapore, received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Sven De Been, of Bergen Op Zoom, Netherlands, received the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Cherica Joy Arellano Angeles, of Caloocan City, Philippines; Em Smith Cantago Balaba, of Cebu City, Philippines; Neil Velez Ilagan, of Cavite, Philippines; Bill Julius Lagman Ocampo, of Pampanga, Philippines; and Justine Louie Bautista Santiago, of Bulacan, Philippines.
Of the individuals who took the CMA exam in English during the January/February 2020 testing window, the following were recognized for their exceptional performance:
- Dr. Christine A. Denison, of Ames, Iowa, received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Kathrine Rose Co Catindig, of Manila, Philippines, received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Ninglu Yi, of Singapore, received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Abdulhadi Alaithan, of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; and Meera Kansagra, of West Jordan, Utah, received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Anshul Mehta, of Tamil Nadu, India, received the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Teresa Crum, of Pataskala, Ohio; Mathew Maliekal, of Springboro, Ohio; Scott C. Miller, of Austin, Texas; and Angelo Justin Paras, of Kellyville, Australia.
Chinese-language Exam
Of the individuals who took the Chinese-language CMA exam during the November 2019 testing period, ICMA recognized the following for their outstanding performance:
- Yun Shi received the ICMA Gold Medal for achieving the highest exam score.
- Jing Jin received the ICMA Silver Medal for achieving the second-highest exam score.
- Fengmin Guo, Jianchao Yang, and Qiufang Zhang received the ICMA Bronze Medal for achieving the third-highest exam score.
- Wen Qin received an ICMA Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
In the student category, Zhaohui Li earned the Priscilla S. Payne Outstanding Student Performance Award for receiving the highest exam score as a student. The following students were awarded a Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance: Yuan Yuan Cheng; Jinghui Li; Ting Wan; and Jie Wang.
