New IMA framework gives organizations tools for successful operation change initiatives

To help organizations consider the human perspective and reaction to change, learn how to ease the impact, and minimize associated issues and risks, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has released a new statement on management accounting entitled “Managing Organizational Change in Operational Change Initiatives.” The framework defines the concepts and principles that must be considered when making organizational changes – changes that management accountants are uniquely qualified to help their organization accomplish.
