Call for Nominations

Are you a senior-level professional looking to give back to IMA and to the profession? If so, consider serving on IMA’s Global Board of Directors. IMA is seeking accomplished, qualified applicants interested in volunteering for multi-year roles beginning July 1, 2018. CMA certification is preferred.

IMA’s Global Board of Directors oversees the strategic direction of the organization, in line with IMA’s Mission, Vision, and Global Core Values, to serve the needs of the profession.

Nominations are now closed. Thank you to all who submitted candidates for the open positions.

To be considered for the Chair-Elect position, candidates must have served on the IMA Global Board for at least one term and must be able to travel in the U.S. and globally to represent the organization. For this position, all travel expenses are reimbursed.

NOTE: Please read “Did You Know” before applying to the Chair-Elect position

To be considered for a Director position, candidates must have prior IMA volunteer leadership experience or experience serving in volunteer role(s) at another organization. Directors are expected to attend three U.S. meetings in person per year, and have the appropriate Visa credentials to travel, as necessary. Directors are offered partial reimbursement for travel expenses. (See Travel Reimbursement Policy, below)

Applicants must complete all required steps in the application process including submitting a completed Candidate Questionnaire, a resume, and/or a 75-word bio, and a cover letter addressed to the Nominating Committee.
