The IMA Educational Case Journal (IECJ®) is a quarterly, online journal publishing teaching cases and research relevant to accountants and financial professionals in business.
IMA Case Writing Competition 2012
Call for Submissions
IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) is soliciting submissions for a case writing competition.
Cases in any area of management accounting or related fields are invited.
Cash prizes for the winning cases will be:
o $2,000 for first place
o $1,000 for second place
o $500 for third place

IECJ accepts cases covering a wide range of topics reflecting the diverse skill set required of accountants and financial professionals working within organizations. Cases appropriate for either graduate or undergraduate classes are included. International submissions are welcome and encouraged. The IECJ is listed in the Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in accounting.
Subscriptions
A subscription to IMA Educational Case Journal–which includes access to all back issues–is included in member dues. Subscriptions are available to nonmembers for $250. Members and subcribers may use the cases for educational purposes without charge. Teaching Notes are provided free of charge to IMA Academic members only.
A discussion forum is available in LinkupIMA. The IECJ Discussion Forum is a group where academics can share ideas on using cases in the classroom, discuss the cases in the IMA Educational Case Journal, and see how other academics have used the cases in their classrooms. Guests are welcome to view this public resource. Members of LinkUp IMA can participate in discussion threads and subscribe to updates..
