IMA’s (the Institute of Management Accountants) Higher Education Endorsement Program is a pilot program that identifies business curriculums that meet the quality educational standards required to enable students to earn the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation, and it helps other schools develop such programs.

CMA® Scholarship Program

The CMA Scholarship Program is open to all undergraduate and Master’s level students in both the U.S. and international accredited program concentrating in accounting or financial management. The CMA Scholarship Program honors the top 5% or five students, whichever is greater, by recognizing them with this scholarship. Deadline for submissions is June 1, 2013.

Additional Resources

Winning Cases from the Carl Menconi Ethics Case Competition can be found in the IMA Professional Resource Library in Linkup IMA. These cases focus on business ethics with specific application to management accounting and finance issues. The IMA’s Statement of Ethical Professional Practice is used as a guidance tool/reference. The cases are suitable for either undergraduate or graduate classroom use and/or IMA chapter continuing educational programs. IMA academic members can access the teaching notes in the Academic Teaching Notes library in Linkup IMA.
