David B. Burritt retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 2010 after serving a variety of roles over more than 30 years, including: chief financial officer, vice president of the Global Finance and Strategic Services Division, corporate controller, chief accounting officer, 6 Sigma Champion, general manager of Strategic & Business Services, Business Measurements Manager and a variety of business assignments in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Burritt has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bradley University and an MBA from the University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and member of the Institute of Management Accountants, and a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of CPAs. He serves as a member of the board of directors of Lockheed Martin, Aperam and Global Brass & Copper. He is a contributing member of the Pathways Commission, Hackett Advisory, and a founding owner of Zip Fitness.
Mr. Burritt has been married for more than 30 years and resides in Florida. He has four children.
